Sleepily Awake?

No....The title is not a bad attempt at a paradox....Its just that I couldn't think of a better title for this post...Here I narrate one of the most hilarious 2.30 am incidents I have experienced...All thanks to my darling cousin Shridhar...

Lemme explain...

2.30 am..Abhishek (another cousin) and I were chatting...(What??! Were you expecting us to study in our vacations?! )

We were busy talking our usual crap....And suddenly..Shridhar...the first one to have dozed off that night...wakes up with a start...

We weren't shocked...It happens all the time...We thought he wanted to go to the washroom...As he headed straight toward us...and the washroom was right behind us...He walked toward us in such a crooked fashion in which even a drunkard could be beaten...He was completely off balance and had to hold the platform to gain balance...He came toward us...

Shruti: (pointing at the room where my granny was sleepin and where the washroom was too..)
Siddhu you want to use the washroom ??
Shridhar : (eyes wide open...no blinking) ---

Abhishek: (pointing to the room too...) Arrey...wanna use the washroom kya?

Shridhar: (Smiles) Mujhe pata hai tum log kya bol rahe ho...(Translation: I know what you guys are talking about)....(opens the door of the room...The room is pitch dark...peeks inside...looks for 10 seconds...)

Shruti: (Laughing my guts out) haha...Sorry..Siddhu what are you doin...? Why did you get up? haha...sorry...Wanna drink water? (pointed at the water pot)

Shridhar: (walks toward the water pot...doesnt touch it...looks down...makes a complete turn and comes back)

Shruti: (I laughed so much...my stomach hurt...! ) to abu-- Do you think he is sleep walkin..?

Abu: (shocked yet smiling...) Maybe...lets check...

Shridhar: (Took a seat next to abu)

Shruti: hahaha...sorry i am laughing so much...but why did u wake up...?

Shridhar: (casually expressionless) Aise Hi...(translation: just like that!)

Abu: (putting his hand out...showing two fingers...) How many are these?

Shridhar: (was figiting with the spectacles laid on the table...does not answer...puts out his hand and shows two! )

Shruti: :-O
to abu-- I guess he is awake...!

Abu: God Knows..(joining me in laughing out loud...)

Shruti: Siddhu go sleep have to wake up early tomorrow for the trek...

Shridhar: (Gets up to go and sleep...)

Aunt: Shridhar ??! Why did you wake up?

Shridhar: ---- (dozes off)

We laughed like hell...and If you had seen him that night...You would have been laughin too...And the best part is he doesnt remember a thing....All he remembers is figiting with the spectacles...and he thought that too was a dream :P

On Top Of The World

Well....yah...I am Bathophbic...na not afraid of baths re...VERY afraid of depths...
Everytime i look down from the top of my 8 floor building...I feel like I am goin down now!
Miraculously I am safe so far...! :P

Recently I had been to Nashik..( Akka enjoyed her freedom)
We did loads of things there...(for further details contact: "me" personally ;)) )
One of them being...scaling...Pandavlene..(lene = Caves) ....But its a huge hill...trust me on this..(like you have an option)

Getting to the point...(which I keep missing!) ...

It was early morning when we left home for the trek...( ok..not so early...we are all lazy!! )
All fired up (read: damn sleepy :P )...Until the caves...There are 180...no...190...no..200...uh..whatever number of steps...but we took the trek route...and were there pretty soon...
After the caves to the top...there are no steps...Just plain rocks..! (here I do not mean that "just plain" rocks...I mean there were only rocks...rocks is a noun not a verb here...:P)

The hardest part here being right after the caves there is this huge rock we have to climb...with very little support...one grip lost equals one life lost...somehow...I convinced myself not to look down...and made it quite easily...

Then the trip to the top was quite tiring...and I might as well say boring for people unlike me...
For me every step up was a new challenge..a new adventure...
I made it to the top...and guess what...I was the one to reach first...(Credits : I had to pester my monkey cousin Gaurang to lemme go first...coz' on his own he can go up and down the pandavlene in half an hour...Thanks Gondu :-*)

At the top...It was amazing...Like all the fear had been sucked out of me...I had been here before...but this time was different...This time..I had done it all on my own...


The air was cool and fresh...the entire city of Nashik...in its perfect miniature form...People below...And eagles hovering above....And the best scenery eva'! I also clicked some pics...(CRITICISM NOT WELCOME!)





I'm telling you guys...Up there I felt like a kid! Like everything is bright and sunny...No results tension...No admission tension...I forgot all my troubles....I felt like I had a new life...A better life...(bored you enough! I know.. )

I felt like living there forever! (Akka even wanted me to do that..! )

On my way back...I felt so happy...so energized..so fresh....
It was one experience I can never forget...so it comes up on my blog...!
